The Parish Council receives details of all planning applications relating to the Parish and is consulted on them. The Parish Council can submit its own views and take into account parishioners' views, however the District/Borough Council primarily look to a parish to provide local insight. Just because a parish expresses objections does not mean the District/Borough will follow.

You should send your comments to both the Parish or District/Borough Council. Be aware that there is a deadline for comments to the latter.
